How we hire.
A short, honest description of the Reactit hiring process. Three rounds, written feedback, no whiteboard puzzles. Designed for senior engineers who already have full-time jobs.
What the conversation looks like.
We hire senior engineers who already have full-time jobs. Our process is shaped around that — short rounds, no take-homes that consume a weekend, written feedback whether you join us or not.
A typical hire goes through three conversations. Each is 60 to 75 minutes, scheduled around your week, and conducted by an engineer who will work alongside you if we move forward. There is no recruiter screen.
We make decisions within five business days of the final round. Whatever we decide, you receive a written summary of what we heard. If we move forward, we share a written offer and standard contract simultaneously — no negotiation theatre.
What each round covers.
Round 1 · Conversation
60 minutes with a practice lead. The work you have done, the work you would like to do, and whether Reactit can offer it.
Round 2 · Engineering
75 minutes with two engineers. A real problem we are working on, in your environment, with you driving. No whiteboards.
Round 3 · Operating model
60 minutes with a partner. The way we work, the standards we hold, the principles in writing. You ask hard questions; so do we.
