We were certain of one thing — the region's next core systems should be built, not bought.
Reactit was founded in 2020, in Sousse, by a small group of engineers who had spent a decade inside the IT departments of MENA insurers and banks. We began with one engagement — a templates service for a life insurer — shipped, instrumented and supported from inside the client's own operations. It is still in production today.
The principle behind it still holds: the team that designs the system is the team that runs it. Today we are twenty-four people across three pillars — Build, Run, Augment — selective about the work we take. We'd rather ship one durable thing than five exciting prototypes, and we measure success in the on-call hours our clients never have to spend.
